The annual Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival is held each Memorial Day weekend at the beautiful, 150-acre Pop's Farm (off of Hobson Road in Axton, VA). Musical genres include funk, rock, bluegrass, country, blues, reggae, jazz, Americana and more. In addition to music, there are top-notch food vendors, children programming, and arts & crafts. Rooster Walk is very family friendly. Children 12 & under free admission with a paying adult.

The event has been named one of the Top 5 rock festivals in the state of Virginia by the Richmond Times Dispatch. Other accolades include #1 Annual Charity Event (Virginia Living, 2020), Best Non-Food Festival (Virginia Living, 2020), Music Festival Missed Most (Blue Ridge Outdoors, 2020), Best Paddling Event (Blue Ridge Outdoors, 2020). 

Primitive camping is available. A limited number of upgraded camping tickets are sold each year, allowing vehicle camping, RVs, tow-behinds & popups.
