Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway is a 1/2 mile, state of the art dirt track located in Jamaica, VA featuring Late Model, Sportsman, Modified and Limited Stock cars on a bi-weekly basis. VMS also hosts several special events to include the World of Outlaws Late Models, World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. VMS also hosts several mud bogs at The Pit @ VMS. Make it s weekend stay as the speedway is 10 minutes from two of the east coast's premier RV parks Beth Page and Grey's Point. The speedway is also just a short drive from the historic Williamsburg area, Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens. The Speedway is a short drive from Fredericksburg, Richmond, Hampton Roads and Southern Maryland. Racing is on select Saturdays from April through Sept.
