Chestnut Cottage provides guests with a romantic, private retreat located in the picturesque Blue Grass Valley of Highland County Virginia. The cottage offers one bedroom (queen bed) and a fold out twin bed in the living room. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge and electric range. The bath has both tub and shower plus full-sized washer and dryer. No need to bring anything except food and personal items. We provide linens and towels and have stocked our kitchen cabinets with dishes, pots and pans and even the spices you'll need for cooking. A gas grill is available outside. Our large deck is perfect for relaxing during the day or star-gazing at night. The covered porch, with its rocking chair and porch swing, is a good place to be anytime. Available year round, Chestnut Cottage is air conditioned in summer and has a gas log heater and electric baseboard heat to keep you toasty in winter. No pets. No smoking. Children welcome.
