Alleghany Highlands Arts & Crafts Center, located in Clifton Forge. Rotating exhibits and sales of juried regional fine arts and handcrafts. The gallery and shop facility encourages creative experience and appreciation of the visual arts. Gallery Exhibits change every 4-6 weeks and feature work in a wide variety of media by Highlands and other artists. The shop sells juried handmade pottery, wood items, jewelry, stained glass, ornaments, needlework, baskets, and other fine crafts, as well as framed and unframed watercolors, oils and various types of prints. Educational programs are offered for students throughout the year, along with occassional short term workshops for the general public throughout the year.
