Carole Böggemann Peirson is a Dutch artist living on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, who creates original oil paintings of local landscapes on location, as well as in her studio. She uses the plein-air (outdoor) studies to create larger studio pieces using the traditional glazing technique. Visitors are welcome, but please call first for an appointment since she might be painting outside somewhere...!
