Day 2: Prince William and Fairfax
Start your morning with goat yoga on the lake at The Little Goat Farm, or sign up for a lesson on how to make goat milk soap, lotion or cheese! This farm offers visitors a relaxing and engaging experience with a variety of baby goats, llamas, and more.
Sit back, relax and enjoy live music, Virginia craft beer, wine & cocktails along with lunch at Farm Brew Live-home to 2 Silos Brewing Co., the YARD outdoor live music venue, The Pit BBQ and beer garden, and La Gringa Food Truck. Their newest addition, The Black Sheep whiskey + wine + noshery, a full-service fine dining restaurant.
Explore nearly 100 acres of ornamental display gardens and unique native plant collections, a handcrafted and one-of-a-kind authentic Korean Bell Garden or follow the meandering walking trails around the flora, fauna, lakes, and forests at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens.
Grab a bottle of Virginia wine for a picnic under the stars at Wolf Trap, America’s only national park dedicated solely to the performing arts. Sit on the lawn during a concert at the Filene Center, where national recording artists grace the stage. Arrive early for a leisurely hike or dinner at the on-site restaurant.
Day 3: Alexandria & Arlington
Enjoy historic waterfront architecture at Hotel Indigo Old Town Alexandria, a charming boutique hotel. Old Town Alexandria is known as the Shop Small headquarters of the D.C. region and is home to more than 200 independent restaurants and boutiques at the waterfront. After shopping, enjoy cocktails and bites at the Hummingbird Bar and Kitchen, Hotel Indigo’s chic seafood-focused restaurant.
The Torpedo Factory Art Center is home to the largest collection of publicly accessible working artist studios in the U.S. Guests can visit 82 artists’ studios, seven galleries, two workshops, and the Alexandria Archaeology Museum.
Enjoy afternoon tea or a champagne cocktail at the Ritz. Afterward, enjoy some retail therapy at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, with over 170 shops and restaurants.
