Whether you are a visitor or a Gloucester resident, stop in our Visitor Center located in the historic Roane Building on the Court Circle, and let our volunteers introduce you to the many special assets and resources Gloucester has to offer! The Roane Building was an 1896 Clerk of the Courts office. It is now home to our visitor center, providing brochures, maps and general tourist information. The gift shop has a wonderful selection of gifts and cards to take home with you. Volunteers staff the center Monday thru Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Come discover - or rediscover - "the Land of the Life Worth Living." Renovations are currently being made to restore the exterior and interior to its 1896 style. So please stop in to say "Hello" and to see this interesting piece of our history.
