Wintergreen Resort is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains on 11,000 acres 4,000 feet high - and has 30 miles of hiking and biking trails. Late Fall through Early Spring

Enjoy skiing and snowboarding on 25 slopes and trails, 13 lit up for night skiing. Wintergreen's Terrain Park offers skiers and snowboarders the chance to practice freestyle skills on snow features, jibs and rails. Five ski lifts - two are six-person high speed - get you to the mountain tops fast. Slopes are classified beginner through expert.

Snow Tubing is a family favorite on two tubing parks. The Plunge is a 900-foot, 10-lane hill dubbed "the ultimate scream machine!" And The Slide is for youngsters and those who want their thrills a bit tamer. Those who love the zipline will enjoy it even more as you soar over a beautiful, white wonderland. If you think the Plunge is fast, try soaring down 900 feet with speeds approaching 40 M.P.H. on The Zip! That's high flying thrills in under 30 seconds! The Zip is open year-round, weather permitting. 

Early Spring through Fall

Wintergreen offers two golf courses, Devils Knob on the mountain and Stoney Creek in the valley and was rated in the Top 50 Golf Resorts in the Nation by Conde Naste Traveler. Instruction at Wintergreen Resort is available at The Wintergreen Golf Academy, or with private or semi-private lessons, regardless of age or skill level.

Tennis can be played on 15 outdoor mountain top courts, three indoor courts and four poolside courts. Lessons for adults and juniors are available, too.

Come ride with us at the Mountain Bike Park! For the best mountain views, and trails that will challenge you and provide excitement and fun, come ride at Wintergreen. Our trails are cross-country full loops with uphill and downhill portions suitable for intermediate or expert riders.
