A major highlight of music in Virginia is The Crooked Road: Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail. This road encompasses almost 300 miles of spectacular natural landscape. There are 19 counties, four cities and 54 towns while traveling through this path. The goal of the trail is to acknowledge the state’s deep ties to its bluegrass and country music roots.
