Mono Loco is Charlottesville’s original nouveau-Latin restaurant. Bringing together the exotic and the local, Mono Loco blends the New World tastes of Latin cuisine with vibrant, fresh, local (and—whenever possible—organic) food. Located just off the Downtown Mall, Mono Loco serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Under the direction of Chef Michael Lewis, Mono Loco has an extensive menu of over thirty dishes, showcasing the richness and variety of nouveau-Latin cuisine. From traditional empanadas to unique Blood Orange Margaritas, Mono Loco offers an unexpected dining experience that is at once exotic and familiar. Mono Loco has two outdoor patios and a cozy, colorful interior. No reservations are needed for small groups, but with prior notice we can easily accommodate large groups and parties.
