From start to finish a bakehouse pastry is hand crafted to achieve a level of culinary mastery that is difficult to find. From the rustic style French croissant to our highly sought after morning buns each pastry pays homage to local, fresh, and organic.

Every Morning at the Bakehouse we serve build-your-own breakfast sandwiches which pair perfectly with locally roasted coffee from Eastern Shore Coastal Roasting Co. Each sandwich is made to order with a variety of fresh, seasonal ingredients on top of our signature breads or croissants.
— Pizza —
The Bakehouse is perhaps best known for its Neapolitan inspired pizza. In order to achieve this style each pizza begins with naturally leavened dough, made with organic flour, shaped by hand, and baked in a wood burning oven.

Bakehouse bread is naturally leavened and made with organic flour. Each ingredient is locally sourced when possible and crafted into the beautiful pieces on display by our head baker Johnathan Zwergel.
