We had two goals in mind when we decided to bring Grady’s BBQ and Shorty's Breading Co. together: Great BBQ and Great Seafood and Chicken!
Founded by Matt Hurley, Nash Osborn, Jim Osborn and Shorty Osborn, The Fishin’ Pig is a Southern culinary combination that will delight all senses! 25 years ago while owning JR’s Quick Corner, Shorty Osborn came up with the recipe for what is today known as Shorty’s Famous Seafood and Chicken Breading. Meanwhile in Memphis, TN, Matt Hurley was cutting his teeth at BBQ contests and cook-offs. He then brought his Dry-Rub, Memphis-style expertise to Farmville and founded Grady’s BBQ in 2006. When Matt opened Mulligan’s Sports Grill in Farmville in 2003, Nash and Jim Osborn were both bartenders there. A friendship developed and in October of 2012 the two companies collided and Matt, Shorty, Nash and Jim came up with the concept.
