Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion in Historic Downtown Bristol, VA-TN!
The award-winning Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion festival celebrates the legendary 1927 Bristol Sessions - and its influence on the music of today - annually along State Street in Historic Downtown with approximately 100 acts of live music over a three-day weekend. Visitors may dance in two states while enjoying the very best in Americana, country and traditional bluegrass and old time music in addition to up-and-coming, rock, blues, and alternative acts.
Be sure to take in a tour of the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, and learn why Bristol plays an integral role in shaping the landscape of the country music industry we know and love today- an essential stop along The Crooked Road: Virginia's Heritage Music Trail, and Tennessee's Music Pathways.
Presented by the Birthplace of Country Music, also the parent nonprofit organization of the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, and WBCM Radio Bristol, Bristol Rhythm is a family-friendly and affordable event that has been a tradition in the region since 2001.
