Nigerian Dwarf Goats are small and love people, they will nuzzle you, climb on you, jump on you and just love you up if you allow them. You might also find a spirited butting between goats who are jealous of your attention so be prepared for anything. We have some babies and some adults. Sessions are limited to only 8 with 12 goats so there is plenty to go around. There will be both adults and babies, adults only grow to about 35 lbs and babies are smaller than cats sometimes! We will provide some goat treats for the goats to get to know you. Sessions are in the pasture so bring you own blanket if you want to sit on the ground which is a good idea, or if raining in the barn.
We do not recommend this event for children since goats have hooves and even babies are very strong. They hop, jump, dance and prance at their desire and might startle anyone under 12.
A once in a lifetime experience. Since groups are limited to 8, bring a group to celebrate a birthday, a bachlorette party or experience along the way to some wine tasting events. There will be plenty of opportunity to take pictures and play with the goats.
