Owners of antique Hudson, Essex and Terraplane automobiles will convene in Winchester, Va. on May 7 - 9 for “The New Doc's Meet”, an annual gathering with a heritage that extends back to 1964. It takes place at the Hampton Inn Winchester-North, at 1204 Berryville Ave. near the intersection of Routes 7 and 81.
The 3-day Hudson event also features the "Orphan Car Show and Cruise-In" on Saturday, May 8, also at the Hampton Inn. Owners of antique "orphan" (discontinued-make) vehicles are invited to show their cars at the Saturday event. An area will be roped off for the orphan cars, near the display of Hudson-built automobiles. The Orphan Show is a casual get-together; no registration or entry fee is required (although there is a $5 registration fee for the 3-day Hudson event). It is within a short walking distance of several restaurants. COVID-19 protocols will be respected: hand washing, wearing masks, and social distancing.
A flyer with complete information on the combined event can be found online at http://cbc.hetclub.org/Docs%20Flyer%202021.pdf . Those with further questions can contact Joe Wood at (703) 618-4772, email@example.com.
- $5 registration only for Hudson owners participating in 1 or more days of the meet. Spectators free.
