Explore the Eastern Shore of Virginia! Private Barrier Island boat tours and Cape Charles sunset cruises.
Cape Charles Sunset Cruise & Dolphin Search
The Virginia Eastern Shore is one of the few locations on the East Coast where you can watch a sunset over a body of water…in this case, the Chesapeake Bay. There is no better way to experience this than on a private sunset cruise that departs from the town harbor of historic Cape Charles. While on your private boat tour, you’ll learn about the unique history of the region, cruise past the “Ghost Fleet” of Kiptopeke, and keep a close lookout for our resident dolphins, all while we wait for the sun to dip below the horizon. There isn’t a much better way to end a day here on the Eastern Shore!
Barrier Islands Explorer EcoTour
Other than local watermen, most people have not had the opportunity to explore the Eastern Shore of Virginia’s Barrier Islands. Along the 70 mile Atlantic Ocean coast there are 23 uninhabited barrier islands which make up the largest stretch of coastal wilderness left on the eastern seaboard of the United States. This area, protected by the Nature Conservancy, has been designated an International Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations and a Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network Site of International Importance. There are no roads or bridges to these islands so boat is the only way to see and experience this unique and beautiful area.
Custom Boat Charters & Tours

- Anniversary or Engagement Surprises
