Located behind the Warren Heritage Museum at Ivy Lodge is the Laura Virginia Hale Archives, which preserves materials important to local history from early settlement to the present. .
The collection was moved in 1988 to a new facility named for Laura Virginia Hale, whose life-long collection of local history was added to the existing material.
Archive materials include newspapers published in Warren County, cemetery and funeral home records, extensive collections of historic photographs, and an extensive library of genealogical resources. The Archives welcomes new material of historical interest.
The Laura Virginia Hale Archives office is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Telephone and email inquiries are welcome.
