Located in Norfolk, Virginia, the MacArthur Memorial is a museum and research center dedicated to presenting the story of General Douglas MacArthur and that of the millions of men and women who served in World War I, World War II, the Occupation of Japan, and the Korean War. It is a must see for those interested in military history, Asian art, and the connections between current events and the past. The Memorial features a Visitor Center, theater, special exhibit galleries and a historical research center. The Memorial is also the final resting place of General and Mrs. MacArthur.
