Pleasant Grove Park is an 800 acre park that has something for everyone. The Pleasant Grove House Museum (FREE Admission) is also located at the park. Visitors can tour the 1854 home, browse the transportation history exhibit galleries or visit our reading room to learn more about Fluvanna's history. The facility is open daily and hours of operation may vary from season to season so please call us at 434-589-2016 for more information or to schedule a group visit.
Monday to Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00pm
Saturday from 12 pm - 4 pm
Sunday from 12 pm - 4 pm
While at the park you can also walk the Heritage Trail to the Rivanna River, take a jog along one of our meadows, enjoy the 21 miles of multi-use horse riding, mountain biking, and hiking trails, or just come out and enjoy the natural habitat or bird watching. Along with these amenities, the park also consists of softball, baseball and three multi-use fields, which are open to the public when not scheduled for league use, a dog park, four picnic shelters, a pollinator and community garden, and home to the Fluvanna Farmers Market.
