Southampton Heritage Village/Agriculture & Forestry Museum is dedicated to preserving antique farm equipment, hand tools and rural wares used "way back when". Located on 10 acres of land, visitors enjoy indoor and outdoor displays and exhibits of more than 7000 items, many of which are 200+ years old. The Heritage Village includes a 1950s Country Store that sold all the things that Grandma needed, a one-room school house, country dwelling, 4-seater outhouse and more. Huge electric train exhibit. Groups and special tours are welcome. Admission $5 adults / $2 school-children / Pre-schoolers are free. Hours: March-November Wed, Sat, Sun: 1:00pm-5:00pm
Annual Heritage Day held 2nd Saturday in September from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm. Operating museum equipment such as 1920s sawmill, grist mill, 1880s printing press, kids activities. Crafts, music, old cars and tractors, small engines, petting zoo, food and non-alcoholic beverages. Lots of family fun! Admission $5 adults, $2 school-children, free for pre-schoolers.
Down Home Day held annually in April from 11 am - 4 pm. Date subject to change. Similar to Heritage Day, but without craft vendors and some of the demonstrations. Annual Nostalgic Christmas/Polar Express Night held 1st or 2nd Saturday in December. Polar Express themed night with train rides. Multiple electric trains layouts in operation. Santa Claus visit. Old-timey Christmas decorations.
