The Richmond Railroad Museum is in the former Southern Railway Passenger Station. This 100 year old station with its cobblestone parking lot has been restored to look as it did in it's heyday after many years of flood damage and neglect. We are open every weekend (11 to 4 Saturday and 1 to 4 Sunday) and the admission is free. The museum contains many artifacts. Three cars and a locomotive are on site.
A large HO gauge model railroad is in the front room of the Museum. It contains many scenes of typical Virginia countryside and towns plus lots of rolling stock.
