New River Trips offers guided fishing trips on the New River. We mainly catch smallmouth bass; some walleye and muskie are also caught. We cater to Fly fisherman as well as spin fisherman. 10th season of guided fishing. All equipment and lures are provided; you may also bring your own. We do trips on over a dozen sections of the New river. Nearby cities are: Independence, Galax, Hillsville, Radford, Blacksburg, Pembroke, Pearisburg. A 14 foot raft is used. Equipment, flies/lures, cooler with ice is provided. lunch, snacks and drinks can be provided at extra cost. We can accommodate up to 2 adults; a party of 3 is possible if one or two is a youth. Catch and release fishing only.
