Jordan's Point, once the industrial and transportation hub in Lexington offers a canoe launch, electricity, grill, pavilion, picnic tables, restrooms, and walking trail.
As far as outdoor adventure is concerned, Jordan's Point is a key stop along the Maury River, a river that begins AND ends in Rockbridge County.
The Chessie Trail can be accessed across the river from the park and provides ample shoreline access to slower water sections downstream.
Be sure to visit The Miller House Museum at the park entrance. It shares the history of the point as well as telling the story of the industrial and transportation surge of Lexington.
