The 52-acre park, formerly a dairy farm, is situated with the old Dairy Barn, an Observatory that gives you a glimpse into space, run by The Analemma Society, equestrian facilities, a "tot-lot," hiking trails, and a picnic area. During clear Friday nights the Observatory Park is open during the evening to view the stars. The equestrian facilities offer 40-acres of open fields for riding, a cross country course, a round pen, stadium jumps and dressage markers in the outdoor arena. The nature trails are also used by avid hikers looking for a nice walk.
The observatory has an Orientation Room used for educational programs. An Observation Room includes three telescopes with room for a fourth as private funding becomes available. The observatory features a retractable roof that rolls over the top of a fixed roof that covers the Orientation Room.
