A charming country bed and breakfast and event site. Silverbrook Farm lies nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the picturesque Short Hill Mountain, offering a lovely vista of rolling countryside. It features a stone, stucco and frame residence, decorated appropriately.
The earliest wing of the house was built in the mid 1700′s with additions dating from late 1700′s, the mid 1800′s and 1998. The long front porch, outfitted with rocking chairs, overlooks a meadow, mountains and cattle grazing peacefullyIn addition to the historical house, barns and dependencies, the gardens are delightful. Imagine playing chess in a garden. There is a rose garden with a beautiful raised arbor for the bride and groom and the lawn can accommodate 150 guests easily. For smaller weddings, the formal boxwood garden is ideal. The house can be used summer or winter and can hold a smaller number of guests. In addition, our recently restored mid 19th century barn is magical and can seat 125 guests with plenty of space to dance.
