Host/Owner: Bob and Carole Mabin, new owners since 2004. The Watson House is a restored Victorian country home built in 1898 by David Robert Watson. Nestled in the heart of Chincoteague, we are within walking distance from favorite shops and restaurants. Our air conditioned guests rooms include private baths, ceiling fans and are romantically decorated with Victorian and country furnishings, nostalgia pieces, lace curtains and wicker. After enjoying a homemade hearty breakfast, in our dining room or on our wrap around porch, you can tour Chincoteague and the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge with nature trails, the wild ponies and the beach with complimentary use of bicycles to tour the island. Smoking is not permitted inside, but is permitted on the porch. We welcome children 10 years of age or older. We are open all year.
