Island Arts is a fine arts and crafts gallery specializing in American-made artwork. Nancy Richards West, noted local wildlife artist and landscape painter, is the featured artist. Photography, pottery, jewelry (including TABRA designs), sculpture, hand-made clothing, limited edition prints, and notecards are just a few offerings in this gem of a gallery. Island Arts is the only place to purchase Assateague Lighthouse and Chincoteague Tee Shirt charms. Local artists are represented here on an exclusive basis. Island Arts is a member of the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance and is a participant in the Second Saturdays Art Stroll each month. Island Arts is open weekends in the Spring and Fall, and daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The gallery is also open weekdays in the off-season by appointment.
