Founded in 2007, JarrettThor Fine Arts is a fine arts gallery showing a number of "permanent" visual artists and also providing a new exhibit of one or two special artists nearly every month. By policy, the gallery presents all types of style (representational, impressionist, abstract, primitive, collage, photo) and all types of subject matter (landscapes, waterscapes, cityscapes, still life, portraits, florals, animals and political satire). JarrettThor also offers several workshops every year and carries a comprehensive line of decorative minerals, unique jewelry, wooden bowls, and reed baskets. Co-located at the Gallery is the Tarver Harris Design Studio offering fine textiles and paintings. The Gallery is owned and operated by artists Joyce and Carl Thor.
