The Harvester Performance Center is a new, mid-size music venue located in historic Downtown Rocky Mount. Officially opening its doors on April 11, 2014, the venue showcases great live performances from national and international touring acts in a variety of genres.
The Harvester, a $2.7 million venue, features a covered drop-off area making it easily accessible in any weather, a main room with seating for up to 475 people or space for 700 in a stand-up show, another music room in the lower level with seating for up to 200 people or standing space for 350, and a concession area offering pizza, snacks, and beer/wine.
The venue, named Best Music Venue in Southwest Virginia by Virginia Living Magazine three years in a row, hosts over 175 shows annually from comedy to country, bluegrass to blues, reggae to rock, and more! Shows feature an impressive list of entertainers - from world-class artists to local rising stars. It's intimate setting, state-of-the-art audio, lighting and video systems make every show an unforgettable experience.
