Portraits are of individuals that have ties to the town and Caroline County. Portraits include Revolutionary and Civil War heroes. Examples include John Penn, Edmund Pendleton, CSA Captain Sally Tompkins, William Clark, Gen. William Woodford, Col. George Armistead, and world-reknown blues guitarist John Cephas.
The gallery is located in the Port Royal Town Hall, next to the Port Royal branch of the Caroline Library. Call ahead or email to make a reservation for a tour.
All museums will be closed during the month of December except for December 10th and 17th by appointment only. Also, all museums will be closed the entire month of January.
Museums will reopen on Saturdays beginning in February.
