NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) built a LOVEworks sign out of different construction related materials and included the NAWIC logo as part of the sign. The LOVEworks sign sits along Parham Rd, a high traffic road, and between two main entrances to J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College (JSRCC). NAWIC partnered with JSRCC to build this sign to bring recognition to women in the construction industry, and to bring awareness of JSRCC’s workforce development program and their construction and engineering related programs.
