The O is a view of the earth from space, representing mankind’s connection to the universe and the museum’s space science/planetarium programs. A T. rex. head sits on the V, representing decades of summer dinosaur exhibits and the permanent outdoor Dinosaur Discovery Trail opening on Oct. 15, 2016. The E shows Crossvine flowers, Bignonia capreolata, representing the extensive collection of native plants in exhibit plantings and display gardens.
