Richardson Gallery started out simply as a studio for Jack Richardson's use creating the paintings he is famous for. He paints in an impressionistic style with the focus on local landscape done on location and larger interpretations done in the studio. He is also accomplished at still life painting which he does in the studio. One can see more of his work as it is created on the website. Five years ago he made a showroom for his work and most recently has invited other well know artists from the area to show their work. Featured artists have receptions every First Friday of the month when many of the shops in the town of Onancock stay open until 8 pm or later.
