Richmond Ballet, the State Ballet of Virginia, kicks off its third decade of dance with a season of classical and contemporary works that are exciting, innovative and surprising. Led by Stoner Winslett, the company’s artistic director of 25 years, Richmond Ballet boasts an impressive repertory that includes 36 original works created especially for the professional company. The company performs throughout Virginia and tours the East Coast with a season that runs September to April. This season Richmond Ballet makes its New York City debut at The Joyce Theater.
