Middleburg

Dating back to the 18th Century, Middleburg is a quintessential small town located in Loudoun County. Known as America’s horse and hunt country capital, the town is home to both the Forbes 5-Star Salamander Resort & Spa and Red Fox Inn, which is said to be one of the oldest continuously run inns in America.

Middleburg’s brick-lined streets, once frequented by Jackie Kennedy Onassis, are filled with chic boutiques, raffish men’s stores, art galleries and superb restaurants, while the surrounding countryside is home to horse farms, wineries, breweries and a craft distillery.

Don’t miss the unique National Sporting Library and Museum that is the nation’s leading resource on equestrian and outdoor pursuits. Explore the fine art gallery or library featuring more than 16,000 books.
