Day 1
Nothing says romance like chocolate! Begin with a chocolate and wine pairing at 8 Chains North, which features carefully crafted chocolates from a local artisan and delicious Virginia vino. Curl up by the fireplace or enjoy the outdoor patio overlooking the vineyards.
After, head to historic Leesburg for lunch at the Wine Kitchen then stroll hand-in-hand through the historic streets. Stop in any of the charming, quaint boutique and antique shops along the way or visit one of several art galleries to build your collection.
For dinner, enjoy European inspired farm-to-table cuisine at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm. Situated on a picturesque hillside, this 110-seat restaurant is perched in an elegant glass conservatory that is heated and air-conditioned, with a view of a beautiful bend in the Potomac River. The farm provides produce for the restaurant. The chef and grower combine their talents to produce wholesome meals utilizing just-picked ingredients featured in a romantic setting.

Housed in an 1820’s home, Zephaniah Farm Vineyards is the perfect stop for this romantic getaway. Family owned and operated since 1950, the tasting room is in the family’s dining room, and they welcome guests to walk into the vineyards.
Head South to Middleburg the Nation’s Horse and Hunt Capital, where you will visit Salamander Middleburg to go horseback riding through the beautiful countryside. No horseback experience? Take a lesson together with the seasoned staff. If horseback riding is not in the cards, try ziplining or wander the streets of Middleburg to enjoy its shops and restaurants.
Enjoy dinner at one of Middleburg’s many dining establishments. Try Red Fox Inn & Tavern for a beautiful historic ambience and equally amazing cuisine or Harriman’s located at Salamander Resort and Spa, featuring local ingredients with a menu celebrating Virginia cuisine. If time allows, grab an ice cream from the local creamery before returning to your B & B for the night.
Taking things slow this morning, enjoy breakfast at your own leisure and everything the B & B has to offer. Relax in the sitting room, read a book in your room or wander the historic land.

Stop en route to the next vineyard at Stoneybrook Farm Market for lunch and peruse the market to see what you can bring home with you. Located in the historic Town of Hillsboro, the market features a selection of local meats, dairy, fruit, bulk foods, coffee, tea, fresh pressed juices, smoothies, pastries and more.
Nourishment accomplished, make your way to 868 Estate Vineyards to enjoy one last winery before heading home. While visiting this boutique farm winery, stroll the gardens, check out the local artists’ work on display or relax on the patio and drink in the final views of Loudoun County!
