April  - May in various cities in the Coastal Virginia region:  For many years  The Virginia Arts Festival  has brought the world’s great artists to performance venues throughout the Coastal Virginia - Hampton Roads area. Incredible artists, commissioned works, extraordinary collaborations, and unforgettable performances ... it’s all waiting for you.

April 10 - 16 in Charlottesville: The 6th Annual Tom Tom Founders Festival is a week of concerts, talks, competitions and public art that connect hundreds of bands, startups, and visionaries. The Festival is free and had nearly 40,000 attendees in 2016.

Apple Blossom CarnivalApril 22 - May 1 in Winchester: The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival is celebrating its 88th year with a brand new event! Check out the Winchester Cider Tastings and Orchard Tours offered at Winchester Ciderworks on April 26.

June 10-11 in Galax:  HoustonFest is dedicated to the memory of Houston Kyle Caldwell. Artists in Galax and surrounding communities are often referred to as a “family” of musicians. There definitely will be no shortage of incredible bluegrass and oldtime mountain music at Felts Park in Galax first weekend in May.

Angela McGaviskMay 20-22 in Richmond: The nation's largest outdoor sports and music festival is Dominion Riverrock, a three-day riverside experience in an urban setting with great food, craft beer and wine nearby.

May 13-15 in Mount VernonThe Spring Wine Festival & Sunset Tour celebrates the history of Virginia wine with candlelit mansion tours and live music on the east lawn overlooking the scenic Potomac River.
