A Virginia Mountain Resort
The Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs is surrounded by the Allegheny Mountains and covers 2,000 spectacular acres.
With 483 luxurious rooms and suites reflecting the Georgian style, The Omni Homestead also features wonderful places to dine - from the elegant Dining Room with continental cuisine to the new Jefferson's - several boutiques and an expansive world-class spa.
Late Fall through March
The Omni Homestead ski area offers over 45 acres for skiing and snowboarding enjoyment with complete snowmaking capabilities. Take advantage of rental equipment, private & group lessons that are available at Sepp Kober Ski School. Our Little Penguins Program is a winter version of our famous KidsClub. Your kids will spend the day building snowmen, sledding, making snow angels, and other fun winter activities.
The Omni Homestead Resort is happy to welcome mini snowmobiles to the Mountain Lodge this year. Little ones are welcome to take a whirl around on snowmobiles made just for them.
Early Spring through Fall
Two golf courses present different challenges, such as The Old Course, which dates back to 1892! Slammin' Sammy Snead began his golf career here, and the Couple's Golf School will help fine-tune your game. With its recent restoration to the original 1923 William S. Flynn design, the nationally ranked Cascades course touts a nearly incomparable tradition of championship golf, and is the jewel of The Omni Homestead courses.
Swim indoors or out. Volley tennis serves on four clay or hard courts. Hike, bike or segway on trails throughout the resort.
Other unique activities include fly-fishing with an Orvis guide, falconry, horseback riding and shooting at sporting clays or targets. Paintball, hayrides, carriage rides and a miniature golf course make every visit a new adventure!
The resort’s Ridge Runner Zip Tour and Red Tail Racer dual zip line offer guests another way to experience the mountain views of the area. The Ridge Runner’s eight zip lines span more than 4,000 feet while the Red Tail Racer stretches 1,300 feet from mid-station to the Lodge.
