Virginia is for Lovers

Virginia Film Festivals

From the Virginia Film Festival, the state’s oldest and largest, to newer festivals highlighting themes such as the environment, regional culture, international film, Virginia filmmakers and the military – the variety and depth of Virginia’s film festivals and screening series is extraordinary.

This year marks the second annual Pocahontas Reframed: Native American Storytellers Film Festival. Created by leaders from several Virginia Indian tribes to celebrate American Indian cinema and provide an avenue for all to learn more about the vibrant, multi-faceted culture of American Indians, specifically Virginia-based tribes.
