The Roanoke Valley in Virginia's Blue Ridge has developed a national reputation for hosting great sporting events. The City of Salem in Virginia's Blue Ridge, known as "Virginia's Championship City," has hosted over 70 NCAA Division III and Division II Championships including football, softball, basketball, lacrosse and volleyball.
