Deep Bottom Park is adjacent to the James River which is an unusually deep section of the River. The park has picnic shelters, boat landing and canoe launch and fishing opportunities.
Deep Bottom Park features two boat ramps for access to the James River and a canoe launch on Four Mile Creek. Picnic facilities and fishing are also available at this site. The boat ramps are available twenty-four hours a day to launch and retrieve boats. The park grounds are open from dawn to dusk.
