Lovettsville

Founded by Maryland Germans in the 1730s and known as “The German Settlement”, little Lovettsville hosts a wildly popular Oktoberfest each fall – a rowdy weekend of beer, bratwurst, hay bales and music. In recent years the town has become a hip culinary and craft drinks destination, with world-class restaurants, wineries and breweries opening in the town and on the surrounding farms and hillsides. A 91-acre community park replete with equestrian trails, amphitheater and multiple softball, baseball and soccer fields opened in early 2022. What’s not to love about Lovettsville?
