Baseball
Minor League Baseball in Virginia is comprised of four leagues: International (AAA), Eastern (AA), Carolina (A) and Appalachian. All teams are affiliated with MLB and most fans remain loyal to those rookies who earn their way up to the big leagues.
Norfolk Tides
The Norfolk Tides, Triple-A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, are members of the International League and play at Harbor Park in Norfolk. The season generally starts in early April and lasts until early September. More Info

The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A Affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, are members of the Eastern League play at The Diamond in Richmond. The season generally starts in early April and lasts until early September. More Info
Lynchburg Hillcats
The Lynchburg Hillcats, Class A-Advanced Affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, are members of the Carolina League and play at the Lynchburg City Stadium. The season generally starts in early April and lasts until early September. More Info

The Fredericksburg Nationals, Class A-Advanced Affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are members of the Carolina League and play at the Virginia Credit Union Stadium in Fredericksburg. The season generally starts in mid-April and lasts until early September.
