The second season of Apple TV+’s critically acclaimed series SWAGGER filmed in Richmond in 2022, and will premiere on AppleTV+ June 23, 2023. The series was inspired by NBA superstar and producer Kevin Durant’s experiences in the world of youth basketball. SWAGGER explores the players, their families and the coaches who walk the fine line between dreams and ambition, and opportunism and corruption. Off the court, the show reveals what it’s like to grow up in America.
From showrunner Reggie Rock Bythewood, the series stars O’Shea Jackson Jr., Isaiah Hill, Shinelle Azoroh, Academy Award nominee Quvenzhané Wallis, Caleel Harris, and Tristan Mack Wilds, and adds newcomers Orlando Jones and Shannon Brown.
